Marcus is the Managing Director of Phoenix Mining Technologies, a globally focused, bespoke Australian company, providing services for the Mining Equipment, Technology & Services (METS) sector. Specialising in business development, sales channels, marketing strategy, as well as research & product development of innovative technologies for the resources & geosciences industries.
Previously he held a senior role with Olympus. For the past 15 years he has been instrumental in driving the growth and acceptance of portable XRF and portable XRD within this sector.
Marcus gained grassroots experience at a Western Australian gold mine in the early nineties and in 2008, commenced his career within the METS sector in January 2008 with JBS Mining.
