Name
Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP)
Description
Being developed and delivered by DevelopmentWA, the Western Australian State Government’s land development agency, the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP) will be a world leading facility with a goal of accelerating technology, analytics testing and scaling without interrupting on-site production and activities.
Strategically located 40km north of the Perth CBD in Western Australia, the initial 51 hectare site has the potential to expand in the future, and will be used for testing, research and development, and training in autonomous, remote operations, and robotic systems and equipment.
Multiple test beds are now available, with leasehold lots and common user facilities coming soon.
The AARP will become a globally linked and locally relevant test facility with test laboratories, virtual laboratories and design co-labs.
