• A highly qualified professional with PhD in Chemical Engineering and MBA complemented by research, operations, project and risk management experiences in various industries including coal, nuclear, steel, mineral processing and iron ore mining.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of mobile equipment automation in mining, including developing new automation technology covering entire mine operations.
• Thorough understanding of the current OEM provided autonomy solutions for drills and haulage for surface mining.
• Experience in strategy development covering entire mining value chain - from pit to port.
• Firm believer that sustainable mining is achievable through automation and electrification and help with reducing carbon footprint.
• Operational experience of hydrogen production, steel plant and nickel refining.
• Working through external organisations to promote interoperability for mobile equipment automation. Participating member of ISO sub-committee for Mine Automation.
• A track record of delivering successful outcomes to complex problems; be it a technology or system issues.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of safety management across various industries.
