Andrew Bell holds a Masters in Energy Economics from the WA School of Mines. Andrew worked in corporate and site-based roles the resources sector for half a decade before joining Curtin University nearly 8 years ago and has recently been appointed as Deputy Director of the Resources Technology Trailblazer program. He led Innovation Central Perth, an industry focussed Innovation Centre at Curtin University from 2021 until recently, where he built an industry funded internship model that delivered more than 100 projects in 2023. Innovation Central Perth grew from 3 staff and a few interns in 2021 to a team of 10 delivering more than 200 industry projects under Andrew’s leadership.
