Jean-Loup entered the field of data analytics in 2009, first as a strategy consultant, then as a researcher working on predictive maintenance for Rolls-Royce jet engines in the UK and finally as a lead data scientist at L'Oréal R&D in Paris.
In 2018, he joined Eramet, a French mining company, in order to develop AI & data governance activities. Currently Director of Transformation & Integration of Operations, he manages digital & data initiatives for the Operations, with projects spanning all operational activities and geographies: optimization of metallurgical processes, environmental monitoring of the mines, reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions...
Jean-Loup has graduated in aerospace engineering (Supaero Toulouse, Imperial College London) and in data science & AI (MIT, Toulouse School of Economics).
