Dr Sibasis is working as a Director at Citigold Corporation Ltd since 2016. He has over 20 years of broad metallurgy, mineral processing, and mining industry experience in end-to-end project cycles from project development, engineering design and commissioning, ramp-up and process optimization stages. He has received an extensive experience in management, operations, data analytics, business development, maintenance, digitization in the mining industry, and research, across commodities including gold, silver, iron, copper, zinc, nickel, cobalt, lithium, rare earth metals, and alumina. Currently, he is involved in the technical activities and setting of the overall direction and strategy for the business, monitoring & controlling the activities of the business, and communicating with all stakeholders. He also worked as a Principal Consultant at Capegemini (Formerly- iGATE Global Solution), a Project Manager at Core Resources (Formerly-HRL Testing Ltd), and a Research Engineer at Arcelor Mittal Research centre.
He has received a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering from the IISc Bangalore and an MBA degree from the UQ Business School, Australia. His main objective is to use his management, analytical, technical and R&D skills to improve operational efficiencies and drive business growth through innovation.

He is passionate about the sustainable use of earth’s natural resources by working with consulting, cutting-edge technologies & providing innovative solutions in the Mining & Mineral Processing sector & building things at the forefront of the digital world. Furthermore, to his credit, he has published several papers in various peer- reviewed journals and also, he has published several technical reports for his clients. He is involved in the Editorial Board for several Material Science, Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Journals.
