Göran Kördel is the CIO of the Boliden Group, a mining and metals company. He has been driving digitalization in Boliden, where connected machines (IoT), advanced network and positioning solutions, data analytics is key technology enablers. Göran Kördel has for many years been driving strategic changes within IT, as CIO for Sandvik, as part of Ericsson IT Management and in own consultancy (Nordwise Management). Göran Kördel earned his MSc in Industrial Management and Engineering at Linköping University. He is a highly experienced business professional with a proven track record of leading large IT organizations through complex change; from strategy, through implementation into sustainable business operations.
