Eugenio Gomez is an accomplished mining executive with more than 25 years of experience helping to address and solve industry challenges and needs with technological innovation and possesses solid commercial and technical knowledge of Industry 4.0 with extensive experience applied in the digital transformation of the mining industry from conception to exploitation.

Currently, the Regional Manager, South America of MineSense Technologies Ltd, bringing revolutionary data-driven, ore sorting at extraction with ShovelSense® to the continent, Mr. Gomez has worked in companies including BHP, CODELCO, HATCH, FLUOR, and ASPENTECH.

Mr. Gomez is an Electric Engineer from the Universidad of Santiago, MSc., from the Universidad Católica of Chile and Ph.D., from the Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany.
