Ashish Kumar is a Technical Lead – Data Science at Rio Tinto. He has a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence in mining complexes from McGill University’s COSMO Laboratory, and received his Bachelor of Mining Engineering in 2014 from NIT Rourkela, India. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, with over a decade of experience in various fields including stochastic optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. When he is not working, he enjoys hiking, listening to podcasts, and going on vacation.
