John Thomson P.Eng, M.BA, has over 30 years of experience in the Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Mining and Mineral processing, Renewable Energy and Mine Electrification projects.

John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kerala (India) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IGNOU (India). John has keen interest in Power generation, Industrial Electrification and Renewable Energy projects. He has worked globally with Kinross Gold Corporation, BHP Jansen, Petronas Malaysia, Department of Atomic Energy India. John also has consulting experience working for leading engineering consultants like Hatch, AMEC (Wood) and Bantrel. As Senior Manager Electrical with Kinross, John provides E&I technical support for global projects including Tasiast Solar Project and now more focused on the Great Bear Project in Ontario, Canada.
