Emile Malvaso is the Services Solution Manager Expert in North America and is the Solution Expert lead for Mining globally in Nokia. Mr. Malvaso has been involved with the Mining industry for more than 15 years. Emile’s mining career started with Siemens Canada as the Northern Ontario Account Manager and culminating to the position of Siemens’ Sector Lead for Mining, the role was to managed all Siemens activities as it related to Mining in Canada. For the following 10 years, Mr. Malvaso was appointed the Chair of the Centre of Excellence for Innovation and Enterprise at Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology. Through his tenure at Cambrian and with Emile’s entrepreneurial drive, he established Cambrian as one Top 50 Research College in Canada with the focus in Mining Innovation and Optimization. To this day, Cambrian College is considered the Premier Specialists for Mining Applied Research in Canada. At Cambrian College, he also held titles that included Associate Dean of Skilled Trades, Manager of Corporate Training and Manager of Continuing Education. Mr. Malvaso brings a multi disciplinary approach to the mining industry that supports his academic achievements encompassing an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University to Siemens AG Nurnburg Academy in Electrical and Instrumentation to the University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business.
