Speaker Bio
I began working at Artisan Vehicles as a university student in 2017 with a goal of performing electrochemical research on retired cells that were previously used in mining BEV’s. After I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in astrophysics & math, I worked at Kirkland Lake Gold’s Macassa Mine (now Agnico Eagle) as a Mine Analytics & Electrical EIT aiding in the management & maintenance of the world’s largest underground BEV fleet (including loaders, trucks, batteries and charging infrastructure) and any other BEV-related projects on-site. During this time, my responsibilities also extended to performing reliability & failure analyses on BEV prototypes, and continued research on retired cells.

In May 2022, I began working at Sandvik as an Applications Engineer with the goal of applying my learnings and experience from working at Macassa to aid in the implementation of mining-BEV fleets worldwide.
