Scott is a mining environmental professional with over 30 years of industry and consulting experience and has been involved in the design, implementation, and management of mines and projects located in a diverse range of climatic settings, including northern cold climates, arid and semi-arid environments, and tropical rainforests. He has extensive experience in understanding the complex social and regulatory challenges associated with carbon and energy management. Scott is currently the Director, Environmental Permitting & Compliance with Equinox Gold, with corporate oversight for environmental programs at its operating mines and projects in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Nicaragua.
