Vladimir Vorotilov is a mining operations professional who learned to build AI systems. After 11 years running Caterpillar and Komatsu businesses, he moved into building the agentic AI tools that now automate the processes he used to run by hand. In his most recent role in Perth, he shipped production agentic AI systems onto the Microsoft stack, built with Claude Code and Codex. His team's WA Government CyberWest hackathon win applied the same approach to a government process. Vladimir also built his own personal agentic harness. He is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Transformation and AI (AITAI), where he speaks on what changes when the person designing the agent has actually run the operation it automates.
