Omid Bagherpur is a Principal Geophysicist at BHP Exploration Excellence and Innovation in Toronto. He has been practicing exploration geophysics since 2009, with experience in potential field methods, ground electrical and electromagnetic methods, and passive seismic methods for mineral exploration. Omid holds a PhD from the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM, Montreal, Canada) in earthquake and ambient noise seismic tomography imaging, and an MSc from the University of Tehran, Iran, in geomagnetism and magnetotelluric methods.
