Vitalii Monastyrov is the Chief Technology Officer of SightPower Inc. and has more than 20 years of experience in GIS, spatial data processing, mining technology, and digital transformation.
Since joining the company in 2011, he has led the development of numerous solutions supporting mine planning, operational control, analytics, and digital transformation for both open-pit and underground mining operations. He currently oversees SightPower's technology strategy and product development, with a particular focus on digital twins, automation, operational intelligence, and advanced mining technologies. He also led the successful commercialization of the MS3 Mine Shaft Scanning System, an innovative platform that combines sensing, analytics, automation, and digital twin technologies to improve mine infrastructure inspection, safety, and decision-making.
