Todd Antill is the Senior Director of IDS for NPK at Nutrien where he is accountable for information and digital services across all Nutrien’s wholesale operations – Nitrogen (N), Phosphate (P), and Potash (K). His responsibilities include technology strategy, innovation, and the delivery of technology services to support safe and reliable production.

His team focuses on the innovative use of new and emerging technologies to help support the safe, reliable production of key fertilizer inputs needed to feed the world. In 2020, Todd established a team called Converged Technology which is staffed with digital experts who facilitate cross-functional problem solving through collaboration with Operations, Engineering Technology and Capital (ETC), site-based process engineering groups, and Cyber Security. Leveraging emerging technologies like Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Data Science and AI, this team intentionally seeks to solve “impossible problems” that help advance Nutrien’s NPK operations.

Todd is passionate about providing opportunities for students and new graduates. He sits on multiple Advisory Councils with Saskatchewan Polytechnic and SIIT and has worked with school divisions to help advance technology programs for youth. He is on the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan Science Center, a non-profit, non-governmental educational facility with the mission of igniting scientific curiosity in Saskatchewan communities through interactive, dynamic, and engaging opportunities.
