Bai Bintou Kaira leads and manages a portfolio of initiatives related to data science and analytics in the mining industry to tackle complex and non-routine business problems. She partners with sites stakeholders to understand their business needs, defines value, translates the needs into technical requirements, and collaborates with the data science teams to deliver solutions for actionable insights. Bintou is a registered professional chemical engineer who studied at Dalhousie University, Canada and completed a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Bintou is an avid volunteer in education, which she believes can change communities positively. She advocates creating educational opportunities for students, especially for better representation in STEM and belonging institutions.
