I am a Technical Project Manager at Vale Base Metals. I work in the Operational Technology and Engineering team and am responsible for implementing technology solutions to increase safety and productivity across Vale's North Atlantic mining operations. With my background in mechanical engineering, I enjoy technical problem-solving and being a part of a group dynamic. I am involved in Vale Base Metals’ projects relating to vehicle interaction safety technologies, specifically the implementation of proximity detection systems, and the trial of collision avoidance systems. I also work in other industry 4.0 projects involving IT, OT, cybersecurity, and control systems.
