Zaman Forootan is a global leader in AI and ML at Hatch Digital team and is active in building data science, machine learning capabilities at Hatch. Zaman holds a PhD in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management, with a focus on Analytics and Optimization which provides him with ability to translate analytics results into business insights and actions.
Zaman is an AI/ML expert with more than 15 years of industry and consulting experience. He has led and participated in various projects involving digital transformation, machine learning, optimization, and process improvement in sectors such as Power and Utilities, Mining, Oil and Gas, Logistics, Transportation, and Retail.
Before joining Hatch, Zaman worked for leading global consulting firms as an AI/ML specialist. He also teaches managerial Advanced Analytics courses at York University as a seasonal instructor.
