Pre-Conference Workshop
Tuesday, November 24, 2026
As AI becomes embedded across mining operations, leaders are increasingly faced with decisions that extend beyond technology. This interactive workshop explores how leaders can make responsible decisions about AI adoption while balancing productivity, safety, workforce impacts and organisational trust.
Rather than focusing on AI regulation or technical ethics, participants will work through practical frameworks and real-world scenarios to strengthen ethical decision-making, navigate uncertainty and lead organisational conversations around AI. Through case studies, facilitated discussions and practical exercises, attendees will leave with tools they can immediately apply to guide responsible AI adoption within their organisations.
